Picture of the Month

This weekend I was going through our pictures and merging them all into one folder. I came across a lot of old pictures of us and I couldn't believe how many there were. So I decided rather then wasting them, I would post a picture once a month from our earlier years. Hope you all enjoy!

Let it Snow!

Hooray! It snowed this weekend! I know it sounds crazy but winter has always been my favorite season. Besides driving in the snow, everything else about it I love. So after not having a winter (or any other season besides summer for that matter) for four years I can hardly wait for winter this year. I was flipping out when I saw all the snow falling. This was what we woke up to on Sunday morning.

HAPPY 10 MONTH BIRTHDAY FUSSY BRITCHES!

We love you Weston! He's so big I can hardly believe it. Only two more months till his 1st birthday!

Dishwasher Helper

Weston loves to help. He was helping Mark this morning unload the dishwasher. He would take out a dish and then hand it to Mark to put away. It was cute. He helps the same way when I fold laundry.

Big Boy and latest project

Weston has a tray on his high chair that he figured out how to pull off. That's fine except that after he gets that off he yanks on the main tray (that DOESN'T come off) until he is purple in the face and gets so mad that he won't eat. So I decided it was time to permanently remove the tray and scoot him up to the table. He loved it! He's such a big boy!

Also, I finally finished my latest project. Our
room has looked like trash so I decided to get busy and embroider the thing I wanted to go over our bed. I had it for our last bed set but
it doesn't match our new one. So I did it over. (OCD? Perhaps.) We've kind of tried to adopt this saying at the "motto" of our marriage - I emphasize TRY - I'm not so good at it. =) Anyway, I finally finished it. Now I just need to finish my curtains and our room will be done! It's only been two months.... I don't love the other stuff above our bed but whatev. At least the frames are off my dresser and my room looks like it's inhabited!

Just Because

Not much has been going on in our little lives lately. We've been sick for a while and just adjusting to Mark temporarily going back to days. We loved Conference. It's so nice to hear from the prophet and apostles. Mark and I both gained such strong testimonies of the importance of General Conference in California. We had a bishop who encouraged us to study their talks and mark them as we do our scriptures.

Anyway, I mentioned that last week we went to Sarah's for a night. She sent me some pictures from that night and I thought I'd share.

Koy and Fussy have similar jammies and me and Miss didn't even know it! We both brought them this night for them to wear. It was cute.

Weston was playing with this bus at Sarah's and he absolutely loved it. He was so happy...as the picture shows!!

Busy Week

We've had such a busy and FUN week so far. Tuesday night me and Miss went over to Say's for some fun and laughs and the kids all had so much fun together. Wednesday I took Weston to the play group that my ward has and he LOVED playing with all the different toys. I loved it too! Then that night some of my best friends from high school came over: Cherice (Christensen) Hanson, Taunya (Hill) Spaulding, and Bridget (Beesley) Russell. We watched some of our old high school videos and man were we silly!! Basically the definition of "immature". =) It was so much fun and we're going to do it once a month now. Today Amy and Aaron brought Kaden and Emma over to play for an hour or so while they took care of some errands. We took them outside and I got some great pictures - hence the post: so I can share them all! Somehow all my psycho-babble ends up in here too. ??? Anyway, I just love being busy. I think as a mom it's what keeps me somewhat sane!

Mark and I were trying to teach Emma to pump her legs when she swings so Mark was swinging with her and they were both saying, "out...and back, out...and back". It was so cute! And I told you all in an earlier post how much Weston loves swinging...here's his funny face. He actually does it a lot bigger then this but this is the best I got. I tried to get the one I have of all three of them on here and it wouldn't do it!! =( Sorry Kaden, didn't mean to leave you out. ;)

Family Home Evening

I went to enrichment tonight and it was so great. A sister in our ward spoke on family home evenings and gave so many great helps from information she found from the church and things she learned working with children as a social worker. It was fantastic. I was going to post some of the things she shared but there was just way too much so I typed up a small list. If any of you are interested leave your email and I'll gladly send it to you. It was so wonderful!
