Recap

This month has found us equally busy and lazy, thus resulting in less posting from me. So here is a little bit of what's been going on around here:

Weston has his daddy's imagination and sometimes we walk in his room and find things that just make us laugh. Like this parking garage he made.
Speaking of daddy's imagination, he built this fort for the kiddos the other morning. Poor Jonas wanted to know what was going on back there with all the laughter!
But you can always pacify him with a teething biscuit. This boy can tell when anyone is eating grown up food and he will squirm, lunge, and try to grab at anything and everything in sight in the hopes of a bite. I don't think he'll have a hard time eating with the family as he gets bigger!
We wrote to Santa.
(Saydi asked for barbies, coloring books, hearts, purple, and Mater. No idea where she comes up with some of the stuff she says. Weston asked for Lightning McQueen, Mater, hearts - the idea was planted by sister =), treats and a train.)

We had three days of Thanksgiving but do you think I took pictures on any one of those days? Of course not. It was fun though and our kids always love spending time with the extended family. On Thanksgiving day Mark turned the big 3-0! He was in denial but I don't see what the big deal is since he has a lot to show for being 30. It also probably has something to do with the fact that I'm still in my 20's. =)

We have enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas and going to the Forgotten Carols and doing other things to help us feel the spirit of the holiday season. Definitely my favorite time of the year!

Uh-Oh

My wonderfully talented friend, Jaclyn Davis, sent me this picture last night from our photo shoot with her.
My concern is this: if Saydi bug is this beautiful now, what are her teenage years going to bring?? Yikes. It looks like Mark will be getting a shotgun for Christmas.

Pink Pals

Have you ever seen two girls cuter than this?
Or sillier than this?

Halloween

We started our day of fun with orange pumpkin shaped pancakes. Although, I learned that orange pancakes will just look brown when you cook them. Oh well, I tried.
Then Wes went off to school with his besty, Olivia.
Weston's school work for October
After school Miss came by and we took the kids to the story time at the library. Saydi got woken up from a nap to go and you can tell how much fun she was to deal with. But she had fun when we got there!
Sarah and her adorable gals came by our house before we went to my mom's. And yes, Sarah made Harper's costume. We call her Martha.
Our little fam. Beck convinced all of us to dress up this year so this was what we could come with at the last minute.
The group. Most of us anyway. Note that Maylee is hysterical. You might wonder why we didn't wait till she calmed down to take a picture - it's because she doesn't calm down easily! Good thing she's so flipping cute!
Cute cousins. Saydi (butterfly), Weston (Spiderman), Makoy (storm trooper), Channing (goldfish...yes folks, a goldfish - adorable), Emma (scarecrow), Keira (witch), Kaden (Harry Potter - the nerd in me LOVED his!)
Sisters! (Not sure why Amy and Becky don't look very happy)
And then the fun commenced! Not pictured is the frigid cold and outrageous wind. Yikes it was chilly.
My Saydi bug and me. Love this girl.
My kids had so much fun! Weston was hysterical and could hardly be contained he was so excited. I'm almost positive he was the first person at the door at every single house. Buster went with for a little while but then went back to grandma's with daddy. He looked cute in his Halloween jammies though!
Another successful holiday filled with fun and far too much candy. And now we can start celebrating the good holidays!
